Change Management

Change Management

Change is Hard.

It’s important to help those impacted by change to understand what is changing and how they’ll be helped in adjusting to the change. There is a lot of fear that accompanies change in the workplace and a good Change Management plan serves to mitigate those fears.

Change Management helps Stakeholders gradually adjust to the change when they need to understand the change and when they are ready to accept it. Without an effective Change Management plan, Stakeholders will begin to reject the change and the project will be in jeopardy.

CASE STUDY:

Industry Sector: Energy/Public Utility

Representative Project: SAP Implementation

Worked with the client’s internal process and change Consultants to develop extensive awareness and understanding programs (customized to individual business units) and deliver them to the workforce. Change readiness assessments were conducted throughout the project and findings were used to modify change management efforts as well as to structure end user training and Super User programs, that minimized decreases in worker productivity.

Additionally, an approach for bringing both technical and business sides of the external partner team together was developed so that all data testing information was shared real time and external partners were kept informed of and engaged in the data testing process throughout the project.  Proactively engaging these external partners resulted in a seamless transition to the new system after Go-Live.
